Our Apparel

Rather than embroider a "retro" logo on a contemporary baseball hat, we craft a cap that is truly vintage. By using materials like wool bradcloth and satin for undervisors, and by having a soft, goat hair backed crown, we create a cap that is indistinguishable from those worn by professional ballplayers in the 30s, 40s and 50s. Our lettering matches the originals, whether embroidered, felt or patch. All of our authentic ballcaps are professionally fitted, of course.

We make a variety of jerseys, from authentic baseball flannels to cotton football utility jerseys and more.

Although T-shirts were not an actual uniform item, they give us an opportunity to offer a low-cost vintage product to our customers, and to dip into the wide array of vintage artwork we have in our files. We are constantly adding new styles, so check back often to see what is available.

Baseball warm-up jackets through the 1950s were generally made of wool, often with leather sleeves. However, this is where the resemblence to school "award" jackets ends. True baseball jackets were cut a little longer in the waist, and a much higher quality of leather is used which is softer and more supple. The closures we use follow the original styles: Snap, button or zipper. Wool knit trim carefully follows the historical patterns as well. Lettering is generally wool felt. An Ebbets Field jacket is a lifetime piece of clothing, and the ultimate conversation piece. You will enjoy it for years to come.
