History: A young JFK enrolled at Harvard in 1937, where he joined the freshman football squad. His coach said that he was "a most adept pass catcher…but his lack of weight was a drawback.” He graduated in 1940, wearing a shawl cardigan sweater just like this one.

The 1940 Shawl Collar Sweater pays tribute to life at Harvard in the 1930s and 40s, made with a heavyweight alpaca/wool blend and adorned with felt letters and vintage-style buttons.
