Kansas City Monarchs 1936 Authentic Wool Ballcap- Red
THE EXACT CAP WORN BY THE 1936 KC MONARCHS, ONE OF MOST IMPORTANT TEAMS IN NEGRO LEAGUES HISTORY
History: One of the most renowned Negro Leagues teams of all time, the Kansas City Monarchs produced fourteen Hall of Famers, from Bullet Rogan in the 1920s to Jackie Robinson and Satchel Paige in the 1940s and Ernie Banks in the early 1950s. Made up of players from the All Nations barnstorming team and the Army’s 25th Infantry Wreckers, the Monarchs got their start in 1920 and played through 1965.
To honor the 1936 team and their last year in the Negro National Leagues, we recreated their on-field cap, complete with genuine red wool broadcloth and felt lettering.
