History: 1957 marked the first season at the helm for coach Ray Didier. He led the Tigers to a Southeastern Conference title in 1961 and finished his 7 year career with an overall record of 104-79-1. Didier is a member of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame.

This is an authentic reproduction of the 1957 LSU baseball cap, sewn by hand with purple wool and finished with an embroidered “L” on the crown.
