San Francisco Seals 1940 Authentic Wool Ballcap
ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC LOGOS IN BASEBALL HISTORY
History: A charter member of the famed Pacific Coast League, the San Francisco Seals are one of the most recognizable minor league teams of all time. They were connected to all of the biggest teams in baseball, having been affiliated with the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, and Giants at one time or another across their 54 year history.
This cap was worn by the 1940 Seals and Lefty O’Doul, who ended his career with a .349 career batting average and somehow never made the Hall of Fame. It’s made with genuine wool broadcloth and finished with the team’s iconic orange felt seal logo.
The felt Seal with embroidered detail is one of the most unique in baseball.
