San Francisco Mission Reds 1937 Authentic Wool Ballcap
AN HOMAGE TO THE CITY’S “OTHER” TEAM
History: The Missions (or Mission Reds) were SF's "other" team, representing the city's Mission district. They shared Seals Stadium with the minor league icons, the San Francisco Seals. The Missions only won the Pacific Coast League title once, in 1929, before eventually disbanding without overtaking the Seals in popularity or usurping the Oakland Oaks as the Seals’ main rival.Â
This is an authentic reproduction of the original 1937 San Francisco Mission Reds ballcap, hand-sewn from genuine wool baseball cloth and finished with a red felt “M.”
