ICONIC LOGOS FROM THE ORIGINAL NEGRO NATIONAL LEAGUES

History: Often referred to as NNL II, the second Negro National League was formed in 1933. Given our New York roots and the role the Ebbets Field ballpark played in the integration of the game, we pay homage to the NNL II's teams of greater New York City. The New York Black Yankees, who originally played their games in New Jersey, the Newark (Brooklyn) Eagles, a team made up of two former independent teams, the Brooklyn Royal Giants, who had been around baseball since 1905, and the New York Cubans, a team that led the way in representing Latin culture in baseball.

This jacket is made with a melton wool body and leather sleeves, just like they made them back in the day. We paid attention to every detail, ensuring the NNL II teams get the justice they deserve.

In partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM), we are proud to offer this wool & leather varsity jacket. A portion of proceeds from this product will support the NLBM in Kansas City. For more information about the museum, visit www.nlbm.com
