Jackie Robinson
On April 15, 1947, Jackie Robinson broke the MLB “Color Line” when he became the Brooklyn Dodgers first baseman at Ebbets Field.

Anyone who has followed us from the beginning knows how important the legacy of Jackie Robinson is to our mission. Jackie’s example of character, dignity, and toughness continues to inspire us today.

It’s also an appropriate time to remind ourselves that this great athlete’s abilities transcended baseball. Robinson was a track star and football star at UCLA, played professional football for the Los Angeles Bulldogs, and even played semi-pro basketball!

A portion of the proceeds from our Jackie Robinson apparel goes to the Jackie Robinson Estate.
