History: Representing Aberdeen, South Dakota, the Pheasants were led in 1958 by pitcher Bo Belinsky who would go on to play with the Los Angeles Angels and throw a no-hitter in just his fourth Major League start. During his career in the Major Leagues, he also became known for his troubled reputation off the field as a partier and womanizer, and was married for a short time to Playboy Playmate of the Year Jo Collins.
