History: In the first season of baseball at brand new Weeghman Park -- which would later be known as Wrigley Field -- the 1914 Whales were led by Joe Tinker, who both managed the club and starred at shortstop. Tinker was already a fan favorite in Chicago as part of the "Tinker to Evers to Chance" double play trio that led the Cubs to two World Series titles in 1907 and 1908.
