League: Federal League
History: In 1913 the Federal League was an “outlaw” league with six franchises in the Midwest. Cleveland’s entry played at Luna Park, and the Green Sox lured the great Cy Young back to town to manage the team. When the Feds decided to go “major league” for 1914, Cleveland was left out. The American League Naps decided to move their Toledo minor league affiliate to Cleveland for the 1914 to share League Park. This blocked the Feds, and the Green Sox moved to Canada, becoming the Toronto Beavers.
