History: George Cafego served as the head coach for the Tennessee Volunteers baseball team from 1958-1962. Cafego was a 2-Time All-American football player and SEC player of the year in 1938. He was the number one overall pick in the NFL Draft in 1940. Smokey the hound is the mascot of the University of Tennessee sports teams.
