History: The Mexican National League was set up by Organized Baseball to try to thwart Jorge Pascual's outlaw Mexican League, which was trying to entice major league players with higher salaries. Although the league withdrew from OB in late May, there was an 11-game post-season series played between The Juarez Indios and the Chihuahua Dorados, won by Juarez. El Paso was the sole U.S. entry in the league.
