Product Details
History: The Miners played in the Class D Western Association in 1914. This particular Joplin squad moved twice in one season, first to Guthrie, Okla. on July 10th. Finding conditions in Guthrie not satisfactory, the club skipped town and set up shop in Henryetta, Okla. on July 22nd. Uniform changes must have been costly. A later version of the Miners featured a young Mickey Mantle, fresh out of Oklahoma.
