History: The Covington Blue Sox moved to Kansas City in 1913, when the Federal League was still a Midwest-based "outlaw" minor league. The Packers' uniforms and equipment were swept away in September, 1914, when Gordon & Koppel Field was flooded by nearby Brush Creek.
