League: Collegiate Baseball
History:The 1931 Scarlet Queensmen baseball team (as they were called at the time) finished their season at 7-7. Despite the average .500 campaign, wins over Lafayette and Lehigh did give Rutgers the Middle Three Championship title. This was the 6th and final year at the helm for Coach Fred Jacklitsch who would go on to play 13 years in the Major Leagues. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights Baseball team are currently members of the Big Ten Conference and play their home games at Bainton Field, Piscataway, New Jersey.
