History: The 1968 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team, referred to as the Omahogs, Diamond Hogs, and even the Porkers, were led by Head Coach Wayne Robbins. Robbins coached for just 4 seasons from 1966 - 1969 with modest success. Butch Hopkins was the pitching ace and Mike Pryor was one of the top batters during the '68 campaign. Things started to change for the better after his departure and the Hogs made their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament ever in 1973. As of 2018, they have appeared in the tournament 29 times reaching the College World Series 8 times. The Arkansas Razorbacks are currently members of the South Eastern Conference Western Division and play their home games in Baum-Walker Stadium at George Cole Field, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
